Two people in an unhurried conversation over coffee

Couples Coaching Pilot

Sometimes it isn’t about fixing the relationship. It’s about creating space to understand each other again.

Relationships can be good and still contain things that are difficult to talk about.

Family responsibilities. Communication. Money. Parenting. Time together. Different expectations. Conflict. Or simply the feeling that somewhere along the way you’ve stopped hearing each other quite as clearly.

This isn’t one person bringing the other person to be fixed.

Two people. Two experiences.

Couples coaching isn’t about deciding who’s right or identifying who needs to change.

Both people have their own experience of the relationship. Both matter.

During the pilot, I work with you individually as well as together—creating space for each person to think openly, and for you both to explore what you want your relationship to look like moving forward.

Clear from the beginning

Coaching, not counselling

This isn’t couples therapy, and I’m not a relationship counsellor.

My role isn’t to diagnose your relationship, treat mental-health conditions, investigate who’s at fault, or tell either of you what you should do.

I create space for each of you to think, hear yourselves and each other more clearly, and decide what you want to do next.

Where counselling, therapy or another form of professional support would be more appropriate, I will say so.

By invitation

The Couples Coaching Pilot

I’m currently exploring this approach with a very small number of couples.

The pilot runs for approximately 8 weeks and combines individual and joint coaching conversations.

Conversations
7 coaching conversations
Time
Approximately 8 hours together and individually
Pilot contribution
USD 700 per couple

Both people need to want to take part. There’s no expectation to continue beyond the pilot.

Because this is a pilot, the precise rhythm of individual and joint conversations may develop slightly as we learn what is most useful. Any change would be discussed together.

An important agreement

What happens to what I say privately?

Your individual conversations have their own confidentiality.

Having an individual conversation with me does not mean everything you say will automatically be reported back to your partner.

At the same time, couples coaching cannot work well if I am being asked to hold information that fundamentally changes the basis on which the joint coaching is taking place.

Before we begin, the three of us will agree clearly how confidentiality, individual conversations and information relevant to the joint work will be handled. You will know those boundaries before deciding whether to continue.

A conversation first

Before we begin

There is no instant purchase or enrolment.

Both people should have the opportunity to speak with Stefan before being accepted onto the pilot. This is to make sure each person understands the approach, genuinely wants to participate, and feels comfortable proceeding.

Participation should never be presented as something one partner signs the other partner up for.

I’m interested — let’s talk

A conversation first. No commitment to join the pilot.

Come as two people, not as a problem to solve.
