Become a Coach

Coaching is about helping people move forward.

If you're building your coaching journey and want to grow within a supportive community, we'd love to walk alongside you.

Is this right for me?

This may be right for you if…

  • I'm training to become a coach.
  • I'm newly qualified and looking for experience.
  • I want coaching hours with real clients.
  • I value supervision and continuous learning.
  • I want to belong to a coaching community.

You don't need years behind you to belong here. What matters is care for the craft and a willingness to keep learning.

Why this exists

The distance between qualifying and practising.

Many talented coaches finish their training with real skill and genuine care — and then hit the quiet gap between qualifying and building a sustainable practice. Clients are hard to find. Supervision can feel expensive. Community is often thin.

Your Life, Your Call aims to bridge that gap by creating opportunities to learn, serve and grow together — inside a community that takes the craft seriously without taking itself too seriously.

We'd rather grow slowly with the right people than open the doors widely to everyone.

The Coaching Pathway

Three roles. One community.

These are different points on a professional journey — not ranks or status levels. You're welcome to grow between them at your own pace.

Trainee Coach

For coaches building their foundation.

You're training towards accreditation and looking for supported opportunities to develop your practice.

  • Working towards accreditation
  • Supported coaching opportunities
  • Building coaching hours
  • Mentoring and reflective practice

Associate Coach

For qualified coaches building a sustainable practice.

You're qualified and ready to work with clients while continuing to develop through supervision and ongoing learning.

  • Qualified and practising
  • Receiving client referrals
  • Continued supervision
  • Ongoing professional development

Partner Coach

For experienced practitioners contributing to the wider community.

You bring depth of experience and specialist expertise, and want to help shape the coaching community around you.

  • Experienced practitioner
  • Specialist expertise
  • Mentoring other coaches
  • Contributing to the wider community

Standards and expectations

Quality quietly matters.

Coaches within Your Life, Your Call are expected to work ethically, respect confidentiality and commit to ongoing development. In practice, that means:

  • Work ethically and with genuine care for the person in front of you.
  • Respect confidentiality — nothing shared inside a session leaves it without consent.
  • Commit to ongoing development, reflection and supervision.
  • Practise within your competence, and refer on when that's the right thing to do.
  • Follow the spirit of the ICF Core Competencies and Code of Ethics as a shared professional reference.

We reference the ICF Core Competencies and Code of Ethics as a shared professional foundation. This is a reference to the published standards, not a claim of institutional affiliation beyond our own accreditations.
