We spend years learning how things work. Our jobs. Technology. Other people. The systems around us. But how much time do we spend learning how we work? In this reflection, Stefan explores the value of becoming curious about our own patterns. What happens to your patience when you're tired? What changes when you've slept well? What tends to trigger that critical voice? What restores your energy? Which habits help you feel more like yourself — and which quietly drain you? Understanding ourselves doesn't mean controlling every thought or trying to remain positive all the time. It means noticing. Over time, those observations begin to form something like an internal operating manual. We start recognising what we need, where some of our reactions come from, and which old patterns may no longer serve us. Perhaps knowing yourself isn't something you eventually complete. It's a relationship you keep discovering.
